No 1 NOTE : Two more plastic urns are in the RAF Airmen Memorial unlabeled. They contain the soil leaked from the original plywood urns, broken during the long term storage and handling.
No 2 NOTE Vaclav Hanka serving with No 311 Sqn met his death in the Wellington T2564`s crash piloted by Frank Bullis over Uxbridge on Oct 18, 1942. He was not burried in the Brookwood Cem as other 13, but following his wife`s wish in the St. Philip Penn Field Cem, Wolverhampton, No M.A.148 grave. Hanka`s family brought his urn into the Czech Republic and it was laid into the Urn Dpt of the Prosteyov Cemetery in 2000 beside the one of the Ex-Serviceman Henry Prokop. Opening the Prosteyov RAF Airmen Memorial and laying the Hanka`s urn into may be feasible if under reconstruction.
