The memorial unveiled in the Most ie Brux Cemetery on the sixty eighth anniversary of the ´Great Escape´ is a brainchild of Mr. Michal Holy. No single Czech crown was from the public costs. Sponsor and family donations only. All the guests incl the Embassies Representatives were invited to this Unveiling Ceremony by Mr Holy in person.

The list of the Czechoslovak airmen who had lost their lives in WWII and whose urns filled with their graves`s soil are laid in the Prostejov RAF Memorial had been checked by Ex/Serviceman Gen. Ret. Alois Siska and made up by the George Wolker Grammar School student Jaroslav Braun in his Secondary School Thesis in April 2004.
