313 Sqns was set up in May 1942. Engaged in the Jubilee Seaborn Operation, our pilots
+ downed 17 German planes losing none. The Wing shot down 5 V-1 in July 1944 1944.
Deployed in Belgium and Holland, they fought until May 8, 1945. Cz Fighter Wing

first Czech piloting a fast Typhoon fighter. He succeeded in ditching with her near the

NOTE : Jicha`s aerobatic skills must have saved his life on only on that day. Due to his
extraordinary piloting, he was picked by an British aerial icon Alex Henshaw for the job
of a test pilot at Castle Bromwich and serving here was awarded the AFC.
