Further gravestones of Cz airmen
The images of the gravestones of the Cz airmen laid to rest within Midlands during WWII can be seen on web.
Since Aug 10 eighteen pictures of the gravestones of Sgt. Miloslav Manasek, F/Lt Vaclav Hanka, LACs Miroslav Drnek and Josef Melena, F/O Josef Kloboucnik, Sgts Josef Klvacek, Miroslav Cap, Oldrich Kestler and Josef Martinec, F/Lt Frantisek Fanta, F/Sgt Jozef Hrala, Sgts Rudolf Jelinek and Emil Tuerkl, P/Os Miroslav Mucha and Vaclav Obsil, P/O Antonin Kaspar and F/Os Emanuel Krajina and Frantisek Vocetka have been seen on the www.fcafa.wordpress.com website. Not Forgotten – Midlands.
NOTE : The urns of F/Lt Vaclav Hanka and F/O Vocetka were laid into a tomb of the Foreign Airmen Memorial at the Prostejov Cem. In Sep 2012 during its reconstruction.
