Vítězná křídla
Snaps of the " Wings of Victory " Exhibition, owned by the Czech Airmen Association and being on display at the Castle of Plumlov, were turned into a film by George Kaspar and Stan Hajek. It took nearly half a year, caused above all by the lack of infos.
1/Because there were not any notes under dozens of the photographs, it was necessary to
identify them first. That reason for Jaroslav Popelka, Oldrich Rampula as well as a brother
of No 311 Sqn member Vaclav Knoll, son of No 311 Sqn Workshop Chiefy Josef Sadlo
were visited by me in person. Some RAF veterans such as Stanislav Hlucka,
Frantisek Perina, Frank Elston and Josef Balejka have helped me.On the other hand , some
others would not twist a finger though being asked for help by me.
2/As you can see, the snaps of Nos 311, 312 and 313 are mixed on the same panel. I had to
sort them
3/ There was a need to put the snaps into chronological order.
4/ Sometimes adding a note was of some use.

Videocassettes and CDs had been presented by us not only to RAF veterans Frantisek Perina, Stanislav Hlucka, Josef Balejka, Olga Zadrobilkova, but also with a text in English to the 481 Bomber Group airmen of No 15 USAAF Thomas Qualman, Hjalmar Johannson, Oliver Hommert as well as the Jagd Gruppe 300 CO Guenther Rall.
A DVD was sent to Imperial War Museum Interpretation and Research Officer Mr. Petr Murton

Lecturing at schools, all of them are used by me.
The part four had been shown to the RAF veterans who came to a Reunion held at the town of Prostejov on Oct 6, 2006. One of them was Sgt. Frantisek`s relative - Mr Rambousek from Brno. The part one was watched by the visitors coming to the Reunion held on Nov 9, 2007.
My friend Stan Hayek had passed away on Nov 4, 2007 aged 63 and his funeral was held on the same day when visitors to the RAF families Reunion came to the DUHA = Rainbow Club
on November 9. One of them intended to buy the CD. Being told by me there would be no chance any longer and what reason for, he uttered : “ So make it web public “
Taking poor awareness of this part of the Czechoslovakian history in our schoolkids into account, we made decision to pay tribute to our late member Stan like this.
