KX-B Memorial

2012-04-02

The daughter of the first pilot of the KX-B twin-engined Wellington bomber has been trying to perpetuate the event of January 3, 1942.

More info about the individuals or institutions co-operating with Mrs Dagmar Siskova - Johnson are seen HERE

Having been addressed by Mr Tom Dolezal on Mrs Dagmar´s behalf, we gave a hand in finding the families of the three KX-B´s  crewmen who had perished on the sea in the Dec 28, 1941 - Jan 2, 1942 time frame - a rear gunner Rudolf Skalicky, a co-pilot Josef Tomanek and a navigator Josef Mohr. We have been successful twice and hope do so in the Rudolf Skalicky´s  matter too.

A thin paperback "No Reply from KX-B" written by Alois Siska had been published in early 80s and twenty years later again by the Ostrov Publ.
