Tom Dolezal – a son of Czechoslovak No 311 Sqn´s pilot was sent a book „Operation Stonewall“ by its author Jiri Sulc. It describes effort of the Royal Navy and the RAF to prevent the German steamer „Alsterufer“ carrying a supply of strategic value from reaching the port of Bordeaux. The Blockade Runner was sunk by a Lib captained by P/O Oldrich Dolezal. There was a gunner Sgt Ivan Otto Schwarz onboard at that time, who had been sent the above mentioned book some time ago. A picture of the Ex-Serviceman Gen. Schwarz will be put in the article on the first anniversary of Ex-Serviceman William Kauders´s funeral, which Gen. Schwarz took part in on Sep 19, 2010.
