Consul Vladimir Znojemsky

Eighty years ago he made establishing of No 1 Czechoslovak Military Group possible at Krakow.

This act was later nodded by the Exile Czechoslovak Committee in Paris. The Consul and his Deputy Mr Vladimir Henzl had dug in after Mar 15, 1939. The premises at 8 Potockiego St had not been ceded to the Germans. The only one within Poland.

Mr. Znojemsky masterminded the transports of the Cz men in arms to France. He was not appreciated accordingly for his deeds done by him for his Motherland. He was not an only one  HERE

This man of a brave heart died on Sep 3, 1979.
