Plaque dedicated to LtCol Kubalik

Will be unveiled on a wall of his No 47 native house at the village of Hrdiborice on Apr 27 after 4 p. m.

The Ceremony is to be launched at 1550 hrs. The event was masterminded by a Chairman of the Czech Army  Area Council´s of Military Association of Rehabilitated. Both the sextet of the Olomouc Military Band and the Squad of Honor belonging to the Olomouc Garrison as well as No 21 Caslav Air Base of the Tactical Air Force are to take their parts. Speeches will be held following a flypass of two L-159 Alca jet fighters of the Czech Air Force. 

NOTE :

The attendees can pay tribute also to another pilot of the RAF who was born at this village. A memorial plaque dedicated to Col Arnost Mrtvy who had served with Cz No 313 Fighter Sqn was sited on a local chapel´s wall. Having entrained at the nearby station of Vrbatky Mrtvy and Kubalik headed for Poland together on June 30 1939.
