It is dedicated to F/Sgt Joseph Talab, P/O Bernard Misak and W/O Stanislav Havlicek.
A Z 1098 Wellington´s WOP of F/Sgt Joseph Talab met his death on Apr 15, 1942. Z 1098 was the last bomber belonging to the Czechoslovak No 311 Sqn lost under the Bomber Command. F/Sgt Stanislav Havlicek served with Nos 310 and 311 Sqns as a fitter and an armourer. He is mentioned in a booklet ´Frantisek Zivela - an Hurricanes´and Spitfires´ armourer with a sportsman´s heart´ by Jiri Mikulka, Vaclav Kolesa and Jaroslav Popelka.
Following the event the´Cz airmen serving with the RAF during WWII´Exhibitiontion will be launched on the Local Council´s premises.
