You can find it at a newly revamped main staircase while walking from the railway station downtown. These two RAF airmen are mentioned among fourty three persons of the town of Uhersky Brod. Both served with the Czechoslovak No 311 Bomber Sqn. As the pilot Sgt Jan Krivda as the navigator F/O Vladimir Kubicek lost their lives in WWII. Not only the family of the pilot were among the attendees of the event. A nephew of the navigator was there too. A picture of them standing on this step was is  - HERE

Both Krivdova and Kubickova Streets had been named after both the airmen at Uhersky Brod. An urn filled with soil from  Sgt Krivda´s grave had been interred in the Foreign Airmen´s  Memorial at the town of Prostejov in 2012. His name had been engraved in the plaque covering this vault - HERE
