Not only memorial plaque
Dedicated to Col in mem Ladislav Bobek DFC will be unveiled in his birth place next Sat on the occasion of his 105th birthday anniversary.
The ceremony will be held on Sep 12, 2015 at 1500 hrs in the centre of the village of Mala Skala near a local chapel. About a hundred meters from the Buceks Estate. A memorial dedicated to the Clay Para Group´s W/O Col. Cestmir Sikola is located near this chapel too. The pilot´s youngest daughter Helena, grand-daughters and a grand-son Mr Miroslav Vrana are to be among the attendees. A book authored by him on his grandpa´s escapades will be shown to the public there. The pilot´s score placed the third among the Cz Night Fighters.
