A man of principles G/Cpt Joseph Duda CBE was born a hundred and ten years ago.
Interring an urn with his ashes in the Prostejov Cemetery in the Brnenska St is symbolical. He was not only a pre-WWII graduate from the Prostejov Military Aviation Academy. He acted there as a flying instructor several years later. Following the end of hostilities in ETO he was its CO. This grave is within stone throw to the Ceremony House. The way is made easier by ´Hrob generala Dudy´signs ie Gen Duda´s grave. It is in a row parallel to a main road leading from the main entrance to the Ceremony House South to this road. There is a statue at the first grave of this row if walking from the East.
