Winged Lion in Memorials Museums Subsection

The Winged Lion Memorial unveiled at the Klarov Park in the Lesser Town District of Prague in the vicinity of the Green A line´s Malostranska tube station on June 17, 2014 was added to the above mentioned subsection of our website´s Links.

The three texts are dedicated to this event by the www.fcafa.wordpress.com website. An objection to an stance of the National Heritage Office is seen in the „Support for the Prague Winged Lion Memorial“  posted on June 9. The unveiling ceremony  dates to June 18 and 25 respectively in  ´Unveiled Winged Lion Memorial Prague´ and ´Winged Lion Unveiling one´  The latter is both in English and in Czech. You can see not only the names of all nine Cz Ex-Servicemen but also several video clips. The speeches of Sir Winston Churchill´s grandson Ret Hon Sir Nicholas Soames MP as well as Mr Jan Hamacek the Chamber´s  of Deputies Chairman are seen there.
