Today we remember the birth anniversary of the Cz No 311 Bomber Sqn´s pilot. On Jan 2 his death was mentioned.
Two last pictures in the following text are of Sgt Joseph Tomanek with No 311 Sqn. The left one was taken on Oct 23, 1941 front of the DX9741 Wellington bomber. Sgt Tomanek is the third from L and the first from left in the image at right. Assistance of Mr Jaroslav Popelka who identified all the No 311 Sqn´s members, the bomber and dated the image is much appreciated. Open HERE.
