On the anniversary of W/C Josef Ocelka´s DFC death we advise of the book, in which No 311 Sqn´s CO also mentioned was.
This book had been published by No 14 Prague Cerny most Borough in 2005 on the occasion of VE-Day´s 60. The whole circulation of a thousand pcs was sold out in two years. As new findings from the escapades of the twenty nine RAF´s members as recalls of Miss Iveta Irving and Mr Zdenek Ocelka, a Mrs Trudie Bryksova´s story and the recalls of Mr Jiri Slavetinsky were incorporated into the second edition published in 2009. Both twenty images from Col. Jaroslav Dobrovolny´s album and the aircraft models can be seen there. Vasatko´s Curtiss Hawk is by Mr Michal Urban, six others by Mr Vlastimil Seidl and two by an author unknown to us. The text was written by Mr Miroslav Fronek, Jaroslav Smid, Pavel Vokurka and Miss Renata Rudolfova and Alena Vesela too. Open the article HERE
