Bomber Hall on web
From today both the excerpts from the RAF Museum Hendon´s Bomber Hall can be seen on the youtube website.
The pictures of the Vickers Virginia and Handley Page Hampden bombers as well as a variety of aircraft - Vickers Wellington, Handley Page Halifax W1048, B 17G No 77233, Airspeed Oxford MP425, B-25 Mitchell No 44-29366, Fw 190 A8U1 No 584519, Heinkel 162 Salamander, Bristol Bulldog, Spitfires Mks V BL614 and XXIV and Hawker Typhoon are seen in the former one. Also a plaque dedicated to fifty Allied airmen who had been murdered by the Gestapo Secret Police following their Great Escape from the Sagan concentration camp, one remembering a ´Mana´Operation and a map and a list of all the USAAF´s airfields on the British soil in the 1941 – 1945 time frame can be seen here. You can see the Bristol Beaufighter RD253, Lockheed Hudson, Curtiss Kittyhawk and Republic Thundelbolt KL216 aircraft as well as a plaque ´Spirit of Lockheed employees´ in the latter one. Open HERE. Spoken in Czech only.
