Brookwood updated
On the 103rd anniversary of birthday of Cz No 311 Bomber Sqn´s navigator William Kauders MC three matters were updated on the www.svazletcu.cz website today.
1/ Both the ´Brookwood Cemeteries´and ´Anniversary of Willy Kauders´Funeral´ texts were shifted into the LINKS Section, CEMS OF CZ AIRMEN ABROAD´ Subsections.
2/ Two excerpts of the ´Czech Airmen Association in England 2004´ film on the visit of this group at as the Brookwood Military as the Civil Cemeteries on June 1 are seen HERE and HERE. Both were posted in the DOCUMENTARIES Section today.
You can see not only the Czechoslovak Section of the Military Brookwood Cemetery and the gravestones of Sgt Antonin Vanko and S/L Josef Ocelka DFC in the former one, but also the graves of P/O Zdenek Illovy called Denis, Major Gen Josef Snajdr DFC W/C RAF, F/Lt Eduard Prchal with his wife F/O Dolores Prchalova, Col. Pavel Svoboda, Col Viktor Gustav Kaslik with Beryl Una Kaslikova, designer of the Bren Gun Ing. Karel Jan Staller, Chairman of London Sokol Sports Association Ing. Karel Vaclav Staller with Dagmar Eleanor Staller and F/Lt Josef Hybler.
Also the F/lt Josef Hybler´s gravestone as well as the ones of G/C Alexander Hess DFC, F/Lts Frantisek Sticka and Vaclav Zima and Josef Ruprecht in the latter excerpt.
